Due to its extensive experience, in the implementation and support of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP with the vertical solution Enwis (solution designed for the waste management sector), Arquiconsult was the partner chosen by Maltha Glass Recycling Portugal to upgrade its Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 ERP to the 2017 version.
Opting for Arquiconsult, as technological partner, continues an established partnership between both companies, which began 8 years ago. Selecting Arquiconsult was a natural choice for its know-how and references in the market.
Still within the scope of this project, already having the most flexible and open ERP in the market, Dynamics 365 Business Central, was also implemented the e-gars module and developed a module for weighing tickets (Q! Kiosk), aimed at drivers, which allows process automatism gains and e-gars issuance.
This solution allows Maltha to have an adapted software, guaranteeing the specific aspects of its business activities, namely in the operational area. The improvement of business performance and information optimization are obvious assets for its development.
Maltha Portugal is the national leader in the processing of waste glass packaging. Established in October 1994, the result of a joint venture between professionals from the national glass industry and the Maltha Groep business group (Dutch group with factories in the Netherlands, Belgium, France and recently in Hungary) Maltha Portugal dedicated the first years of its existence to the knowledge of selective collection techniques of glass waste (known as glass hulls) while extending the knowledge of specific needs of domestic glass industry.
